My Music Playlist for Working

I often tend to find myself listening to music throughout the work day. Not just while working, but on the way to work and leaving from work as well. There is just something about music in and of itself that can really get a person going. It can inspire and motivate and really help us to get through whatever it is we might have to do for that day. I have taken the time to compile a short list of songs I would usually have on my playlist while working. Perhaps you will find something you like within my playlist that will help you get through your workday as well or find inspiration for your own workday playlist.

Songs I play on the way to work (mostly to pump me up for the long work day ahead):

  • I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor

  • Who I Am by Maroon 5

  • Legends by Sleeping With Sirens

Songs I play during the morning time (these are more so to calm me down and get me focused on the day ahead):

  • Black Mountain by Henry Jamison

  • Sea of Voices by Porter Robinson

  • Peninsula by Flughand

  • Sunday Morning- Questlove Remix by Maroon 5

  • On My Mind by Pomo

  • Love is Real by Moods

Songs I play after lunchtime (to get me through the final part of the workday):

  • Happy Hour by Weezer

  • The Final Countdown by Europe

  • Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley

  • Patient by Tilian

  • Closure by Maroon 5

  • Lines That Burn by Tilian

  • Wait by Maroon 5

  • Cold by Maroon 5

  • Life Saver by ReN

  • Waiting For You by Verzache

Songs I play after work/ on the way home (the day is finally over, time to celebrate!):

  • Can’t Stop The Feeling by Justin Timberlake

  • Lately by Shapes & Colors

  • High by Sir Sly

  • In My Room by Gorgeous War

Alternatively, these songs could be played during any type of work, for instance while working on group or solo projects, while cleaning or even exercising. Not everything listed may be what you are into either, but that is okay! If you had clicked this article hoping for some inspiration and could not find any, don’t worry! There are tons of playlists on Spotify and Youtube for whatever it may be that you need, as the possibilities are endless. Whatever work you may want to do, music can definitely help get you motivated.
